I used several materials to construct my mousetrap car.  The most important of which being the mousetrap, (of course).  I used the sticks of wood show above as the axles and to hold the string pulling the axle, balsa wood for the body, CDs for the wheels, balloons for treads and to hold the wheel onto the axle, and lots of hot glue to hold all of it together.  I went to Michael’s to get materials but ended up only using the balsa wood and picture hangers out of everything else I bought.  I spent a total of two dollars at Michael’s on this project.  Everything else I used was something that I already had from a previous project.

The only thing unique about the materials was that I used balloons for much of my project unlike many other people.
